For the safety of everyone, it's important to be seen if you're cycling on the roads in the dark.
The Highway Code states that, at night, cyclists must have white front and red rear lights. Bikes must also be fitted with a red rear reflector and amber pedal reflectors.
The University transport team is handing out FREE slap wraps, high vis vests, and bike lights!
See them at the Heslington Church traffic lights on Wednesday 9 November between 3.30pm and 5.30pm and claim your free stuff.
If you can't make it, email transport-team@york.ac.uk with your internal address and items will be sent in the internal post.
