Visiting York
Some distance learning courses will require students to attend the University at the start or at some point during the programme.
Whether this visit is compulsory or you find yourself in the area, you will always be welcome on campus as a student at York.
You can find detailed directions and interactive maps to help you find and get around the campus.
If you are visiting the University from overseas, we have useful advice on travelling to York.
Student Visitor Visa
If you are from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, you may need a Student Visitor Visa to visit the University. Find out more in our student support information.
