University assessment policies and procedures

The University assessment policies and procedures (formerly referred to as 'the Guide to Assessment') are reviewed annually and revised as required. 

Certain revisions may need the approval of the Standing Committee on Assessment (SCA) and the University Teaching Committee (UTC). Schools/departments will be notified of these changes via a briefing from SCA.

Any revisions or in-year changes will be published here and schools/departments will be notified. You are advised not to print copies of the documents, but if you do so, you should ensure that you regularly check the online version for any updates.
