York Cricket League
Running since 1983, the University of York Cricket League (aka The Tinpot League), is a friendly and inclusive set of T20 cricket matches.
We currently have six teams competing who are always looking for new players, from both the University and externally.
Matches are played on weekday evenings from mid-May to mid-August on the University pitches at 22 Acres.
Our ethos is very inclusive and the league offers a great opportunity to enjoy a social game of cricket in a beautiful setting, making new friends and connections along the way. First and foremost our objective is to have fun. Cricketing experience is not essential at all (nor the wearing of white clothing), just the desire to enjoy a social game of cricket in the sunshine.
