We are marking National Apprenticeship Week with a number of sessions to help you find out more about how to make the most of what is available.
National Apprenticeship Week (5 to 11 February 2024) is a national event to celebrate the achievements of apprentices and how they provide ‘Skills for Life’ to make a positive impact on communities, businesses and the wider economy.
The University is keen to increase our provision of apprenticeships as part of our commitment to widening participation.
If you are thinking about doing an apprenticeship programme for your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD), join us on Wednesday 7 February, 10am to 11am for Using the Apprenticeship Levy for your own development. This session is aimed at all members of staff who are thinking about their own professional development, or that of their team members.
The apprenticeship levy is a way for existing staff to access development programmes that align to their existing roles. If you would benefit from having a qualification that would develop your knowledge or experience and enhance your performance, you may be eligible to undertake training funded by the apprenticeship levy.
