Bus service news

Over the summer, we've been working with First Bus York and we're pleased to say that although some fares are rising, the free zone around campus and the 20 tickets for £20 offer will remain.

New route number for UB1 – now the 68

First Bus York continue to offer four routes serving the campus:

• 66 and 67 which run between Sports Village and the railway station
• 68 which runs between Halifax College and Grimston Bar, and used to be known as UB1
• CB1, the Clubbers' Bus which runs between Rougier Street and Campus East from midnight to 4am

Fares information

The 66, 67 and 68 continue to be free when you're travelling around campus: for route 66, travel is free between Sports Village and The Retreat, for route 67, it's free from Sports Village to Green Dykes Lane, and the 68 is free between Campus East and Campus West.

Although ticket prices are increasing generally, you can still make use of the 20 tickets for £20 offer, available to staff and students via the First Bus York app and valid on the 66, 67, 68 or CB1 buses.
