Menopause impacts not only the individuals who experience it personally, but also colleagues, friends and family members who experience it second hand.
Therefore, it is important to understand what menopause is, the potential impact on individuals and what you can do to support people experiencing menopause. Increased awareness can have a strong positive impact on people you might know and support in your personal and professional life.
This session is specifically designed for men or anyone who identifies as male to come along and gain an understanding of menopause so that they are able to better support family, friends and colleagues through this phase of their life.
It will also talk about andropause and how this can impact some men (male ‘menopause’ in effect and where men can experience similar symptoms).
The session will take the form of 30 minutes of information sharing, followed by 30 minutes for questions.
To sign up for the session, or if you are unable to attend but would be interested in a future session, please complete this Google Form.
If you would be uncomfortable asking questions at the session, on the form you can submit questions which will be answered anonymously on the day.
Details: Tuesday 7 December, from 2pm to 3pm, via Zoom
