TIER have also kindly donated a number of passes to staff at the University of St John and York Hospital.
E-scooters were introduced to campus in October this year as part of a trial being funded by the DfT and in partnership with the City of York Council, and so far we have seen a great uptake from our students in particular.
The gesture of free travel passes comes as many of our colleagues continue to commute to campus regularly to fulfil a host of roles.
We have 25 individual travel passes to give away. Each pass has 400 minutes free travel time on TIER e-scooters using the routes between Campus West and the city centre. Plus winners will also receive twenty free “unlocks”, which are the standard £1 charges to unlock an e-scooter. Remember, the scooters are a safe and sustainable way to travel, and are free to use on journeys between Campus East and West.
The draw is open to all staff.
