Record any cycle trip to work by logging into Love to Ride this week to stand the chance of winning a range of great cycling related prizes.
Cycling has a range of benefits for the individual, such as improving your fitness, saving money on fuel and parking fees and improving well being, as well as for the community by reducing traffic pollution, CO2 emissions, parking and road congestion.
In support of Ride to Work Week, the University has arranged for a Bike Doctor session to be held outside Vanbrugh/Berwick Saul from 10am-2pm on Friday 29 March.
Drop your bike off to get a free check up to ensure it is working well. If you don't already have a bike or you would like to get a new one Get Cycling will also be on hand in the Vanbrugh Stalls between 10am and 12pm to advertise a Bike Loan scheme that allows you to trial a new bike for up to one month, complete with accesories and then to buy it if you like it at a discounted rate.
