Light up, be seen and be safe

With dark evenings, it's important to be seen if you're cycling on the roads.
The Highway Code states that, at night, cyclists must have white front and red rear lights. Bikes must also be fitted with a red rear reflector and amber pedal reflectors.
Claim your free safety gear
The Travel and Transport Team are giving away free high-visibility vests, bike lights and ‘slap wrap’ arm reflectors on Thursday 28 November 2019.
Catch them at Field Lane crossroads between 4pm - 6pm.
