Change resources for individuals
How do I respond to change? How does change impact me? How does change affect others? How can we embrace change? Our resources aim to help you explore these questions.
Change at the University
At the University, change can be many things, from big structural changes through to smaller incremental changes. We all have a shared responsibility to deliver the University Strategy. It's big. It's ambitious. We're trying to make people's lives better. But with this aim comes lots of change, not to mention the challenges we face in the sector, in society and life in general.
Change is constant. We're always in a state of change throughout our lives. Change can affect people in different ways and at different times. Change can land differently for everyone, particularly if you have a disability or long term health condition. You may also find it helpful to explore the guidance and information for disabled staff, explore our resources on change and the impact on disabled staff, revisit your Individual Adjustment Plan to enable you to explore the impact of change with your line manager and connect with other colleagues through our staff networks.
How to use these resources
We know all this change is hard. There's no getting away from it. Our resources aim to help you explore how you respond to change, and the impact it has on you and others.
They'll help you reflect on what you might do differently to support yourself and feel better about change. They'll help you feel empowered to be part of the solutions.
Let's make change happen. Let's make a difference together.
