Department of Social Policy and Social Work moves into the UK top ten.

This week the Department confirmed its place among the UK's most highly regarded departments for the subject of Social Work. The Department is ranked 9th in the UK in the Complete University Guide 2020.

Published annually since 2007, the Complete University Guide ranks 131 UK universities, 13 Arts, Drama and Music colleges and conservatoires, and 70 subjects by quality measures important to students.

In total, five departments at the University were ranked in the UK top ten: Chemistry (4th), English (5th), History (6th), History of Art (6th) and Social Work (9th).
