Biography

I joined the PhD programme at the Department of Sociology in January 2023 under the supervision of Dr Darren Reed and Dr Clare Jackson.

My research looks at online communication among queer men and non-binary people; this includes examining how sexual inequalities, the relationship to technology, and the design of digital apps contribute to digital intimacies. I primarily work with phenomenological perspectives to explore how self-representations and identities are understood across different contexts.
