UK Compulsory Sobriety Network: Symposium

CrimNet member and former University of York PhD student, Dr Laura Bainbridge, invites you to the first UK Compulsory Sobriety Network Symposium at the LSE.

Bringing together policy-makers, practitioners, academics, voluntary sector representatives and technology manufacturers, the Symposium is a unique opportunity to explore the latest thinking and evidence around the practice of mandating offenders to a period of monitored sobriety.

The Symposium will include networking opportunities and presentations from experts. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Judge Larry Long - Architect of the South Dakota 24/7 Sobriety Project
  • Karyn McCluskey - Chief Executive, Community Justice Scotland
  • Lord Wasserman – Government Advisor on Policing and Criminal Justice
  • Amit Sethi – EU Head of Operations, Alcohol Monitoring Systems
