ReCSS Visiting Fellow Dr Marcia Johnson

ReCSS is delighted to welcome Visiting Fellow Dr Marcia Johnson, who is visiting ReCSS until 11 September 2015.

Dr Marcia Johnson is the Director of the Centre for Tertiary Teaching & Learning at the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand. Coming from a background in Educational Technology and Applied Linguistics, Marcia has conducted research in Canada, Japan and New Zealand into the potential of technology to transform tertiary teaching and learning processes. More recently, she has researched threshold concepts in doctoral writing with a view to better understanding and supporting doctoral students and their supervisors.

Marcia will be meeting colleagues across the University during her stay, and on 2 September is giving a presentation in ReCSS 'Doctoral writing and supervision: Exploring some key Issues'.
