This workshop will feature two sessions: ‘Evidence in Theory and Practice’, and ‘Evidence in and as a Practice’.
Staff from across the University are invited to attend one or both of these sessions, during which the 10 speakers will explore the idea of evidence as a tool for decision-making under uncertainty.
The event is hosted by the Risk, Evidence, and Decision Making Research Theme, and aims to bring together staff in different disciplines and contexts, ranging from healthcare to policymaking to AI, to identify cross-cutting issues and themes relating to evidence, discuss the strengths, weaknesses, and uses of evidence, as well as emerging challenges around the use of evidence.
