Writing for lay audiences and the media

• brief explanation of the different roles in the communications office and how we work together to promote research
• different options for communicating research (i.e. press releases, articles and social or other media)
• examples illustrating the journey from 'raw' research paper to press release/article and how these stories were handled by the media.
