Writing for lay audiences and the media

The session will cover:
- brief explanation of the different roles in the communications office and how we work together to promote research
- different options for communicating research (i.e. press releases, articles and social or other media)
- examples illustrating the journey from 'raw' research paper to press release/article and how these stories were handled by the media.
Coffee and cakes will be provided and do feel free to bring your lunch with you.
