Ten unanswered questions in (science) education

Science education is high on the national agenda, with the Conservative manifesto aiming to make Britain the best place in the world to study maths, science and engineering.  That’s a great ambition, but there’s still a lot that we do not know about how to achieve good science education. In this lecture John will be trying to identify some of the big questions on which we still need evidence if we are really to be world class – and it turns out that most of these questions are applicable quite widely across education, not only in science.
