My advice about working in my industry
It can be a very fulfilling and exciting sector to work in, combining the cutting edge of science with the world of business. The earlier that you can get some work experience the better as this connects you with people who are further on in their careers who can offer valuable advice and insight to help you along the way.

Manage and lead Profiscio. We provide project management and consultancy services to facilitate and support scientific innovation and development.
How I started my business
I decided to start my own business to see whether I was able to achieve something that in my previous roles I'd been leading and coaching others to do. Through my career I built a wide ranging network, which I could tap into initially to let them know about the service business that I had set up. It was important for me to have gained experience of the commercial environment in the innovation space as well as having a solid scientific background, to feel confident enough to give this a go.
What I like most
Working with people who are diligent and fun, to deliver projects that are going to have true impact
What I like least
Sometimes the long hours can get you down but the results are usually worth it in the end.
