What I do

Teaching history to secondary school students - from the skills of History in Year 7 to the academic demands of A Level and GCSE.

Skills I use and how I developed them

BA History from York, followed by an PGCE and MEd at Newcastle. Experience wise - YSIS and the SAS scheme obviously helped a lot.

Degree skills:
My undergraduate study prepared me for a Masters level course.

Extracurricular skills:
Teamwork, communication, organisation

What I like most

I love working with young peole - it is very rewarding.

What I like least

Workload is intense.
