A day in the life of a Managing Editor, BT.com in the United Kingdom
Senior journalist and news editor with 15 years experience in national media.
My career history
I started working for PA as a trainee in 2002 before covering Yorkshire and the Humber region as a reporter. In 2007 I moved to New York as PA's North America Correspondent before returning to the UK as PA's Home Affairs Correspondent in 2009. After working as the Daily Telegraph's Home Affairs Correspondent in 2012, I returned to PA as news editor the following year and became Chief News Editor in 2014. I set up and ran the editorial team of PA's digital service Snappa (http://snappa.press.net/#!/feeds) for two years before taking over the running of BT.com in July 2016.
Courses taken since graduation
Newspaper journalism, PG Dip, City University, London.
