PGCE (Primary) 5-11 Years
Where I hope to be in 5 years
I hope to become a subject leader within the next year.
What I do
Class Teacher - planning, teaching, marking, assessment in all subjects, Special Educational Needs provision, before and after school and break duties, after schools clubs.
Skills I use and how I developed them
PGCE and one Year of Supply Teaching experience.
Degree skills:
Seminars helped prepare me for working closely with others as part of a team.
My knowledge of History has helped greatly in the teaching of this subject and I hope to become a History Coordinator at my school after completing my NQT year.
What I like most
The sense of achievement I get from helping children to move forward with their learning.
What I like least
The long hours.
