A day in the life of a Junior Credit Analyst in China
My career history
When I finished my masters course in 2008, I returned to Shanghai and worked in a fund house for about 5 months. In March 2009, I received an offer from eBay, and I worked in the account audit and risk control for a year. In May 2010, I worked as a Junior Credit Analyst in Nissan.
Where I hope to be in 5 years
At present I just wish to gain more experiences in my current position in 2 years.
My advice to students considering work
As what you learn from the education is not exactly the same as the working environment, students should gain more work experiences, eg by taking an internship.
What I do
As a Junior Credit Analyst, I have to investigate and work on the loan for personal users and dealers. For example, to work on personal loans, I have to review the customers record and meet the customers if necessary.
Skills I use and how I developed them
My overseas education, especially with the reputation of the University of York allowed me to stand out from the crowd.
Degree skills:
My masters degree in finance equipped me with some useful knowledge about finance and risk control.
What I like most
I am able to work with different parties, ranging from dealers to customers , and this allows me to gain valuable knowledge about different stakeholders.
What I like least
Nothing, I enjoy every aspect of my work!
