A day in the life of a Vice General Manager in

The recruitment process

I had several interviews in 3 months and recieved 3 offers. I choose Jinqiao as my first job with the position “Invest Promotion”.

Where I hope to be in 5 years

I hope we can expand our business from Shanghai, and become the number 1 in the Chinese Market.

My advice to students considering work

Keeping try, you can do it.

What I do

We are the biggest e-waste collector in Shanghai, and the annual collections exceed 800,000 sets through our reverse logistics system which uses “the internet of things”. We create the collect system with IT so we can finish the trade without being face to face, and this system decreases our logistic costs and incentivises our customs give their e-wastes to us.

Skills I use and how I developed them

My Master’s degree in Project Analysis, Finance and Investment

Extracurricular skills:
English language skills.

What I like most

Trying to solve the e-waste problem in Shanghai, then we have plans to expand our model around China

What I like least

What would I change? This year I am working in the Shanghai government as a transfer plan, and it may give me experience and an opinion about the Shanghai e-waste Market.
