My career history

Project Worker, Riverside Housing, 2011
Housing Floating Support Officer, Woking Borough Council, 2011- present
Where I hope to be in 5 years
I hope to train as a social worker in the near future.
My advice to students considering work
Do lots of volunteering alongside your degree to get practical experience- there are so many opportunities to do this at York!
What I do
I work in the homeless prevention team and support a case load of clients to prevent them loosing their home.
What I like most
Every day is different and it involves working closely with people to help them. It is fast paced and involves lots of problem solving.
What I like least
The financial limitations.
