My advice to students considering work
Ensure that your expectations match reality - talk to as many contacts with experience in work area/profession you are looking at as possible. Find out what people say after 1 year, 3 years, 10 years...
My advice about working in my industry
Read a newspaper and trade publications regularly and get to understand what makes the sector of the economy you are going to focus on (public, utilities, finance) really tick.
What I do
Manage client engagements and staff to complete all work assignments, meetings and client deliverable obligations.
More simply - we work with clients to resolve their management and IT issues to justify and support technology investments.
