A day in the life of a Product Manager in the United Kingdom
I studied BA Politics w. IR and then MSc in Management, however, I don't think it matters what your background (employment or education) is if you want to go into Product.
Briefly describe the organisation you work for
I currently work in the mobile gaming industry as a Product Manager.
What do you do?
My role as a product manager is very varied. However, if I were to summarise my job in a few bullet points it would be:
- Work on new features
- Optimise current features
- Run A/B tests
- Stakeholder mangement
Reflecting upon your past employment and education, what led you to your current career choice?
As someone that enjoys learning about new products, moving into Product was a natural transition. I studied BA Politics w. IR and then MSc in Management, however, I don't think it matters what your background (employment or education) is if you want to go into Product.
Is your current job sector different from what you thought you would enter when you graduated?
Yes/No
Describe your most memorable day at work
