My career history
I started field work before enrolling for postgrad; I joined the University of York after 5 years on field, from volunteer to Field Co. After the MA I jumped from crisis to crisis with certain flexibility;
What has helped my career to progress
Field experience, good networking, passion for analytical methods.
My advice to students considering work
With more crisis there is more and more demand of qualified and prepared staff. So just jump on the boat!
