Kate is a Project Manager at SEI York. Her responsibilities include managing and supporting the delivery of a range of project portfolios across the centre.
She has 5 years experience in project management, and has worked for policy institutes and international non-profits. Kate joined us from Chatham House, where she worked as a Programme Coordinator with the Environment and Society Programme on a range of projects in food and agriculture, energy transitions, and the use of governance and natural resources. This included GCRF projects such as TRADE Hub and AFRICAP, an FGMC project on Illegal Logging, and a few smaller projects on BECCS and Biomass. Prior to this, Kate worked for Save the Children as a Programme Officer for the Humanitarian Innovation Fund, where she managed grants in the localisation and WASH portfolio.
Kate has a MSc in International Business and Strategic Management at the University of York, where she focused on ethics and sustainability reporting. She has a BA in International and Global Studies at the University of Sydney, where she majored in International Relations and French with a year abroad at the University of Edinburgh.
