Connie has worked at SEI York since 2019 and has worked on a variety of projects related to air pollution and climate change. She has worked with Lisa Emberson (previously centre director, now based in the Environment and Geography Department at York) to assess agricultural emissions in China and quantified the associated impacts on human health and crop yields. As part of the Air Pollution and Climate Change group, she has worked with colleagues in Bangkok and country partners in Southeast Asia to assess air pollution in the world of work. She has also helped develop integrated mitigation assessments for the People’s Democratic Republic of Lao, and Central America and the Dominican Republic.
Prior to joining SEI, she obtained an MSc in Zoology from the University of Sheffield.
