Connie is part of the air pollution and climate change group based at SEI York. She primarily supports national planning on short-lived climate pollutants in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. She helps to quantify air pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions and develop integrated mitigation assessments to identify opportunities to achieve multiple benefits.
Connie also works with relevant stakeholders to enhance capacity on integrated air quality and climate change management, particularly through the use of the LEAP tool. She has previously worked with Lisa Emberson (former Centre Director, now based in the Environment and Geography Department at York) to assess agricultural emissions in China and quantified the associated impacts on human health and crop yields, and has worked with colleagues in Bangkok and country partners in Southeast Asia to assess air pollution in the world of work.
