Environmental assessment of Leeds city region housing policy

The Environment Agency with WWF commissioned SEI to look at housing projections in the draft Regional Spatial Strategy.

The report, Using REAP for an environmental assessment of the Leeds city region RSS housing policy (PDF, external link) found that in a ‘business as usual’ scenario based on existing policies the carbon dioxide emissions associated with housing would increase by 8% by 2026. The report was used as evidence in the Examination in Public of the Draft RSS.
