Atmospheric Brown Cloud (ABC)
The project Atmospheric Brown Cloud (ABC), coordinated by UNEP and partly funded by Sida, assesses the impacts of the ABC (with a geographical focus on Asia) on human health, hydrology and agriculture.
UNEP asked SEI to review ozone impacts on agriculture in Asia. This review included an assessment of the experimental evidence of ozone impacts on crops across the Asian region and discussion of appropriate development and application of modelling methods to assess the regional risk posed by ozone on agricultural productivity.
