New Research Associate in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems Position
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and well-motivated researcher to support the research of Professor Jon Timmis during his appointment as Head of Department.
The Department of Electronics is looking to appoint a dynamic and well-motivated researcher to support the research of Professor Jon Timmis during his appointment as Head of Department. This will be a full-time appointment over a fixed term of 48 months.
The candidates will be expected to contribute to undertaking research, and developing new lines of research in collaboration with Professor Timmis, helping to prepare grant applications and help prepare high quality papers. They will also be expected to help with the running of a small group of researchers in Professor Timmis’ team, with topics cutting across computational immunology and robotics. They should have a proven international research record within computational modelling, specifically of the immune system, and have a specific interest in the development of new modelling approaches, methodologies and tools to support wider modelling work, not just in immunology, but in the area of robotics.
