We’re keen to make sure our postgraduate researchers (PGRs) have the best possible experience while at the University of York. To do this, we need to know what you think works well and what we could do better.
All postgraduate researchers will receive an email inviting you to complete this year’s Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES). Please take a few minutes to take part.
The survey is your chance to tell us about your experience as a postgraduate researcher at York and Hull York Medical School. Your feedback is important and results in change at both institutional and departmental level.
The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey is the only national survey of postgraduate researchers and so is the only way for us to compare how we are doing with other institutions and to make changes that will improve your experience in the future. The more PGRs that take part the better we can do that.
Survey deadline: Friday 2 May 2025
The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. Your feedback is confidential to the central research team and all reporting will be entirely anonymous.
If you are a Hull York Medical School PGR student, you will receive an invitation for the PRES survey via the University of York, and need to participate through that invite, regardless of which parent university (Hull or York) you are registered at.
