Stem Cells and the Media Fellowship

A ‘Stem Cells and the Media’ Fellowship will be available in the final year. An invitation will be made to those working in areas such as media studies, science communication, or public engagement to join the Initiative for a period of up to twelve months. They will be invited to liaise with those funded by the Initiative and the SCI Co-ordinator to prepare a specially commissioned report on the field and the findings. The report will be aimed primarily at academic audiences and particularly at the social science network rather than the general public. It will also review the ways in which the SCI has been successful in raising awareness of our work. It will be completed by December 31 2008 and be located at the University of York..
