Introduction

York Health Economics Consortium is a company wholly owned by the University of York. YHEC was established in 1986 to extend the range of the University's services to the health care sector. YHEC provides consultancy and research in health economics to the NHS and the pharmaceutical and health care industries, which combines rigorous research standards with efficient project delivery.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) provides the public with a right of access to information held by public authorities. Under the Act, public authorities (including their wholly-owned subsidiaries) are required to adopt a Publication Scheme.
