Career

During my PhD I worked as a research assistant at the University of Huddersfield on a variety of projects, before moving on to teach foundation year psychology at the International Study Centre - also based in Huddersfield. I worked as an associate lecturer at the Open University for several years on their psychology undergraduate modules before coming to York.

Research

Overview

I’m currently interested in mental health and social media, primarily the disclosure of emotional or mental health experiences on various social media sites. I also supervise projects linked to forensic psychology, particularly those that incorporate mental health.
