The School of PPE offers five distinct undergraduate programmes. Each of these programmes includes a particular combination of study, involving Philosophy, Politics and Economics. The programmes are Economics and Philosophy, Economics and Politics, Philosophy and Politics, the BA in PPE and the BSc PPE. Our BSc in PPE specialises in economics and econometrics, and the BA in PPE is a balanced split between the three disciplines.

Our courses
Undergraduate courses
The School of PPE participates in the University Placement scheme. Under this scheme students are offered the chance to work for a year as part of their degree to prepare them for the world of work.
The year abroad option is also sometimes referred to as a ‘3+1’. Your degree will last four years and your degree title will reference the year abroad, e.g. BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (with a year abroad).
The year abroad programme option is in addition to the existing credit-replacing year abroad, which does not add additional time to your degree.
