Speaker(s): Sue Russell
Join Sue Russell from the Maths Skills Centre for a numerical reasoning workshop.
Are you applying (or going to apply) for placement, internship or graduate jobs? If you are applying to bigger organisations you may well need to complete a numerical reasoning test early on in the application stage, and possibly again at assessment centre stage.
You may have great numerical and mathematicals skills but online tests can be very different from the problems that you are used to. Would you like to know how to interpret and answer these types of questions? You only get one go so if you do not pass first time that means your application has been unsuccessful.
During this workshop provided by the Maths Skills Centre, we will explore how to answer typical numerical reasoning test questions and point you to some useful resources. This will be a hands-on session involving you having a go at actual questions from up-to-date employer tests used for graduate recruitment with practical methods for solving problems in the quickest way. We will also introduce you to a very useful site AssessmentDay with free practice tests with full solutions.
Location: Virtual via Zoom
