Biography

Peg became a lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Relations in 2019. Prior to this, she held a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship for a project titled Talking power: South Africa and the pursuit of legitimacy in the global order.

She received her PhD from the University of York in 2015. Before this, she completed an MA (in Research Methods in Politics and International Relations) and a BA (in International Relations and Politics) at the University of Sheffield.

Peg has also spent time as a visiting researcher at the University of Cape Town and the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
