Political Economy
Our cluster works at the intersection of politics and economics at global, national and local levels.
Our research explores pressing contemporary issues including the changing relationship between the individual, the state, and the economy; gender and class-based inequalities; the foundations of economic (in)security and the fate of transnational cooperation and the liberal international system.
We have particular research strengths in critical political economy, European political economy, and global economic governance and regulation.
