Researcher: Dr Kieran Durkin
Working across the University of York and University of California, Santa Barbara, Dr Kieran Durkin is seeking to address an important gap in our understanding of the work of Karl Marx. Dr Durkin aims to clarify the visions of human freedom and emancipation advanced by Marx, aspects of his writing that have been overshadowed by the totalitarian practice of the Soviet Union.
