Political finance approaches and the impact on interest group access and influence: A comparative study of Anglo-Saxon liberal democracies
My PhD thesis seeks to uncover whether political finance contributions, and overall approaches to political finance regulation, can affect whether interest groups have unequal opportunities to influence legislative policy agendas across different country cases. The research endeavours to add to the existing literature that has yet to reach a convincing consensus as to the extent political finance can impact access, and ultimately, policy agendas.
