Struggle and Law: social movements in Brazil and Colombia and their mobilization for social transformation through human rights law
My research will explore the role of two social movements – involved in local struggles for racial and ethnic equality in Colombia and Brazil – in promoting social transformation through legal mobilization that draws on human rights law.
I'm a specialist in international development, human rights and child rights, with 15+ years of experience with the United Nations, development agencies and other international organizations, having worked in Brazil, USA, Jordan, Mauritania, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Germany. I specialize in analysis, research and strategic planning related to development, human rights, including child rights.
Master’s in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge
Master’s in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford.
