Alcohol harms: the UK government is missing in action

New article by Dr Matt Lesch

Dr Matt Lesch has had an article published in the British Medical Journal looking at the lack of strategy by the UK Government in relation to the problems caused by excessive alcohol consumption.

The article "Alcohol harms: the UK government is missing in action" was published on 15th November 2023.

Matt says "People who end up in treatment for alcohol problems do so because policymakers fail to address the avoidable harm that alcohol causes to public health and society."
