PolSoc are proud to present their Start of Term event. In this event PolSoc look at the effects of the recent Polish presidential election where Andrej Duda, Poland's controversial president was narrowly re-elected. The panel explores what we can look forward to in his second term and discusses the effects of his authoritarian and populist first term on Poland. We are delighted to have an expert panel of Ms. Monica Kabata (Nottingham Trent University), Dr. Barbara Yoxon (Lancaster), Dr. Alen Toplisek (Kings College London), and Dr. Simona Davidescu (York)
