ESRC White Rose Postdoctoral Fellowship: briefing session

We are organising a briefing session for the ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme which will take place on Wednesday, 11 December⋅10:00 – 11:30. This will be presented by Dr Claire Smith (Deputy Associate Dean for Research - Director of Postgraduate Research, Faculty of Social Sciences), Ed Kirby (Head of Faculty Research Operations - Social Sciences) and Nicola Moody (Team Leader, RED and Pre-Award, Faculty of Social Sciences). We will record this session and make this available to anyone interested. To register for the event and/or to request a copy of the recording please complete this brief form. To be eligible applicants must:

  • Have been awarded a PhD or have passed their viva voce with minor amendments by the application deadline of 25 March 2025 and have been awarded their PhD by the fellowship start date of 1 October 2025
  • Have no more than 12 months of active postdoctoral experience. This is measured from the applicant’s viva voce pass date to the application deadline of 25 March 2025
  • Plan to base their fellowship in an ESRC WRDTP accredited department or school
