What Responsibility to Rebuild? Conference on RtoP at CAHR

CAHR is hosting an international conference on 12 January 2015 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Responsibility to Protect.

This one-day conference will examine the links among the responsibility to protect (RtoP), jus post bellum, peacebuilding, and transitional justice in light of recent turmoil in Iraq, Libya, and South Sudan. The conference is especially timely in that 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the World Summit Outcome's formulation of RtoP.

The keynote speech of the conference will be given by Alex Bellamy from the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (Australia).
