Career Options in the EU

Rebecca Taylor, Liberal Democrat MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber, will give a 20 minutes talk to Politics Students on careers in the EU and the European Parliament. Rebecca’s professional background is in health. Her political interests include employment and investment in the Yorkshire and the Humber region. In the European Parliament, she a Member of two Committees: the Legal Affairs Committee (JURI), and the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee (ENVI). This is a great opportunity for students to find out more about careers in the EU through an insider’s perspective.

The event will be followed by a talk on ‘What Europe can do for you’ presented by Rebecca Taylor, MEP 2:30-3:00 at the Derwent Dining Hall. If you are interested in Erasmus opportunities, you will certainly find this talk interesting! The Erasmus talk would be relevant to first years.
