Green Impact is an environmental accreditation scheme run by the National Union of Students (NUS) and is part of the University's Carbon Management Plan. Green Impact supports teams to make simple, tangible and powerful changes in behaviour and policy. The Department of Politics' team is led by Fay Farstad (pictured accepting the award on behalf of the Department of Politics). Fay's research seeks to explain variation in political party strategies on climate change. Burcin Demirbilek, PhD student in Environment and Politics, is also a member of the team.
If anyone (staff or students) is interested in joining the team, please contact Fay (fmf500@york.ac.uk) or Burcin (bd620@york.ac.uk).
